Refund policy
RETURN/REFUND POLICY
Returns:
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at admin@lithiumrecords.ca.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you confirmation as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Due to copyright laws, opened records cannot be returned.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at admin@lithiumrecords.ca. Please see below for possible late or missing refund policies.
Refunds for cancelled orders:
If you paid for your order via e-transfer and you cancel your order before we can ship it, you will be given store credit for the full amount of your order.
If you paid for your order via PayPal or credit card and you cancel your order before we can ship it, you'll receive a refund of your order total minus 3.5%.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at admin@lithiumrecords.ca.
Sale items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items or gift cards cannot be refunded.
Exchanges:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We will only replace items that are deemed defective or damaged. Minor surface noise, slight warps, crackles and pops are not considered defects/damage. Vinyl record production is based on old technology. We are not responsible for what the quality control of a pressing plant deems acceptable. Please email us first before sending anything back as we may not be able to accept the items. We will not be responsible for any items shipped without us first being notified.
Shipping
Please email admin@lithiumrecords.ca and we will advise on where any return items can be shipped.
Be advised that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and do not accept responsibility for items that may not arrive back to us.
