Matthew Good – I Miss New Wave: Beautiful Midnight Revisited (New Blue Vinyl)

Sales of the Matthew Good's 1999 LP Beautiful Midnight were high enough to convince Good to re-record some of the songs for a five-track EP titled I Miss New Wave: Beautiful Midnight Revisited. It was released on December 2, 2016, alongside an accompanying tour in 2017 in which Good performed the Beautiful Midnight album in its entirety. Good said he picked songs from "Beautiful Midnight" he thought could be improved or reworked to reflect "greater maturity" and more technical restraint.
