Megadeth’s final studio album arrives in early 2026 and serves as the definitive closing chapter to one of the most influential catalogs in heavy music. The album is anchored by two high-impact singles: lead track “Tipping Point” and follow-up “I Don’t Care.” Plus, there’s a very special bonus track: a reimagined version of “Ride The Lightning,” which Dave Mustaine co-wrote with Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich, and was the title track from Metallica’s 1984 album.

“As I come full circle on the career of a lifetime, the decision to include ‘Ride The Lightning,’ a song I co-wrote with James, Lars, and Cliff, was to pay my respects to where my career first started,” Mustaine says. The album is being released via Mustaine’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label.
